The experimental drug Ziihera (zanidatamab), a bispecific antibody targeting HER2-positive gastric cancer, significantly improved progression-free survival in a phase 3 study. Amgen announced it has halted a late-stage trial of bemarituzumab, a drug targeting FGFR2b overexpression that it was testing along with immunotherapy in gastric cancer patients.
