Gastric cancer screening in high-risk groups cost-effective

A new modeling study in Gastroenterology shows gastric cancer screening in the US could be cost-effective in high-risk racial and ethnic groups. Some countries like Japan and Korea that currently screen for the disease have seen a reduction in gastric cancer thanks to early detection and treatment.
