GCF changes its name to Gastric Cancer Foundation

April 27, 2012 — GCF has achieved a great deal in the three years since it was founded, transitioning from just a few people raising money to fight a terrible disease to an organization with supporters, volunteers and donors across the globe and multiple sustained programs – our Registry and Genomics testing – to fight gastric cancer. To signify this progress, the the Gastric Cancer Fund has changed its name to the Gastric Cancer Foundation. Nothing changes regarding GCF’s mission, relationship with The V Foundation for Cancer Research, or even our acronym (GCF), but the change does celebrate the growth and maturity of our organization
