The risk of gastric cancer in patients with gastric intestinal metaplasia in 5-year follow-up

Check out this recent study about the risk of gastric cancer among patients who show signs of intestinal lesions, known as gastric intestinal metaplasia (GIM). The study shows men, people with incomplete GIM, and potentially smoking are risk factors for developing dysplasia or early gastric cancer.
