Monoclonal antibodies against autocrine motility factor suppress gastric cancer

A new study finds an antibody specific to autocrine motility factor – a secreted form of phosphoglucose isomerase that stimulates proliferation, survival and metastasis of cancer cells – may be a therapeutic agent for gastric cancer.
