Prognostic impact of the number of retrieved lymph nodes in patients with gastric cancer

New research shows the number of retrieved lymph nodes during gastric cancer treatment may affect the prognosis and the stage migration in Stage II or III gastric cancer patients. The research suggests that retrieving 25 or more lymph nodes could be sufficient for nodal staging.
