Together, we will
defeat stomach cancer.

Stomach cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide, but it receives less than one-half of one percent (0.4%) of U.S. federal cancer research funding.

Your generosity fuels research and provides people with stomach cancer the information, support, and hope they need to navigate their journey.

$4.1 MILLION GRANTED TO FUND BRILLIANT RESEARCHERS AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS

Scholar Awards Engage Young Scientists

Early-career investigators face funding challenges to study gastric cancer. Through 3-year grants of $100,000 per year, the Ben Feinstein Memorial Research Scholar Award enables great young scientists to build robust portfolios of work that position them to receive major grants to continue their work.

seed grants launch new studies

The foundation kickstarts projects at leading research centers nationwide. We aim to ensure that groundbreaking studies receive essential support at the critical early stage. Our funding impact is amplified as projects go on to secure major grants, allowing them to continue their vital work.

Gastric Cancer Registry Accelerates Innovation

The Gastric Cancer Registry combines clinical and genomic data from individuals diagnosed with gastric cancer and those at increased risk. Researchers around the globe now have free access to a wealth of information, including extensive and detailed tumor data, through the Genome Explorer web-based interface. Registry data is enabling new collaborations and accelerating the development of innovative treatments.
